1:New Zealand has a really special Environment. Many of the plants and trees found in New Zealand are not found anywhere else in the world.
2:These plants and trees are endemic trees is the NZ kauri tree.
3: Northland the largest kauri tree in the country is the waipoua forest in Northland.
I would like to go meet Tane Mahuta the endemic tree because i would like to go out and explore and learn more about Tane Mahuta.

For this activity, I can see that you have posted some cool facts about Tane Mahuta. It really is pretty amazing to think that we have a tree in New Zealand that is thousands of years old. I wonder what NZ was like when Tane Mahuta was a young seedling. What do you think it would have been like to live in New Zealand a thousand years ago? There certainly would not have been any internet or mobile phones around, would there?!
